Making rainbow roses

Measure the roses stems and cut them to equal dimensions. The stems must have at least 30-40 cm length. Then, make a mark in their stem at 10 cm length from the base of the stem. In order for this trick to work you must cut their stems in water. So put the roses into a tray filled up with fresh water, then using the cutter, cut their stems in length from the beginning of the mark to the end of the stem. Cut the roses stem into two, three or four pieces, depending on the number of colours you want the roses to have.

Fill all the glasses with warm water and add two teaspoons of sugar and two teaspoons of vinegar in each one. Mix well, until the sugar melts, then add different food colouring liquid in each glass.

Carefully place each cut out of the rose stem in separate glasses. In order for the roses not to fall out of the glasses, fix them with tape.

Let the roses stay in the coloured water for 24 hours. In this time, our roses will turn from white to rainbow roses.

All you have to do now is to cut their stems, in order to eliminate the part that was cutout so you can o make a perfect bouquet! Everybody will love your rainbow roses!
